recently, I had my resume professionally written by a writer in College Station that I found on the internet. The name of the company is 80K Resumes and their web site is www.80KResumes.com. Anyway, I recently graduated college, and they decided to focus more on my skills and accomplishments than on my past job history (a string of part-time jobs while attending U of H). The resume looks excellent, and I am already receiving some phone calls from interested employers, but I have a question. In school I attended a seminar on resume writing and they said that your past job history is more important than your talents. This doesn't make sense. and Zach at 80K Resumes said that is ridiculous for a recent graduate. So, who's right, the school or the writer?
